A classic love story adored by all ages, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella tells the story of Ella, a young girl forced into a life of household chores by her cruel stepmother. Ella dreams of going to the ball where the prince, Topher, is looking for his bride. With a little bit of magic, Ella’s wish is granted and the impossible is made possible. This timeless fairy tale teaches many lessons including not to judge a book by its cover, the importance of following one’s dreams and that confidence can be found in even the most unlikely of places. In addition to these valuable lessons, this production also tackles relevant themes in today’s world and in our own community like anti-bullying, economic inequality and social injustice.
